Important Updates For The Promotion Of Your Affiliate Marketing Business

To promote your online affiliate marketing business, it's vital to use each and every resource available to you online. I have spoken about several methods for achieving this in my previous articles, including the use of Ebay to sell EBooks which you have produced on your niche market.

It has recently come to my attention that Ebay in Australia have instigated a new policy which now stops the listing for sale of digital products such as EBooks. They claim that the sale of multiple digital items delivered electronically has the potential to compromise the Ebay feedback system.

While this is certainly not the end of the world for the promotion of affiliate marketing products, it certainly highlights the ever changing & fluid nature of online culture and politics. Of course there are always options to work around situations such as this. As a quick and easy example, you could copy your EBook products onto CD's and sell them as a physical item which can be sent to the customer via mail. Although this method may be considerably slower than the instant nature of digital delivery, it is perfectly within Ebay policies and can sometimes actually be more comforting for a customer to receive a physical and tangible item.

On a far more positive note, I have recently found that the use of several of the newer social networking sites such as Tumblr, Twitter and Pownce are an excellent resource for the affiliate marketer to promote their products. It is possible to post "Micro Blogs" on these sites, which are quickly and easily accomplished. Pownce and Tumblr allow their users to post video, picture, audio, text and hyperlinks, which can all be very effectively used by the affiliate marketer to promote their products. Twitter is a little different as their "tweets" or posts are limited to 140 characters. It is important to create good, effective sales copy to take full advantage of what this site has to offer.

The really great part about using these sites is that they are constantly being crawled by Google and you can obtain listings and even dominate your niche market on the Google rankings very quickly. Be sure to include links to your business websites in your posts and tweets.

Jaiku is yet another of the social networking sites which are worthy of paying close attention too. They are currently in a transitional phase as they have been taken over by Google. New membership applications have currently been placed on hold while their reorganisation is in progress.

Another positive gesture I would like to make in this post is to offer my entire catalogue of EBooks available to anyone & everyone who cares to visit my business web site. Please feel free to download as many as you like and take advantage of this offer with my compliments. Additionally, I am also offering all of the EBooks which were formerly offered for sale on Ebay. To take advantage of this great offer, please click here.

As a final note I would once again like to emphasise the importance and major effective force of writing articles on your niche topic and areas of expertise. The amount of articles written by you on your niche market will have a direct positive effect on your credibility as an expert in your field with the added bonus of having inbound links to your business web sites.

So get to work tapping away on your keyboard right away and you will soon see a huge boost in good quality traffic to your sites and a giant boost to your expert status in your chosen field of business.

The best of luck to you in your business ventures. Anthony Barnes.
